Hungry Girl In A Hurry


     This week has been all about making the most of the little time I have so I was excited to see that one of my favorite bloggers, “Hungry Girl” has tips for the time pressured!

     On the Starkist Facebook Page,  Hungry Girl makes this reccomendation, “Get a plain grab n’ go salad from a cafeteria or grocery store. Then punch it up with a single serve pouch of Albacore White Tuna in water. Easiest lunch ever.”

     It’s a great suggestion. I love having pouches of Starkist tuna (and tuna salad)  and Chicken Of The Sea salmon on hand.Wheather paired with a salad as Hungry Girl suggests or straight from the pouch they are yummy and make a great snack. The protein will sustain you and keep you full longer. We always keep them in our snack basket of things we can grab for around 100 calories. Try pairing with celery, a handful of baked corn chips, or wheat crackers for a snack with a crunch.

     Short on time for exercise? Hungry Girl suggests taking a quick walk around the block on your lunch break. I use work breaks for exercuse regularly. Even small doses of exercise boost the metabolism and increase energy. Get moving!
